- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Spread pecans in 9x9 cake pan.
- Heat butter and sugar to boiling, stirring constantly, boil for 7 minutes.
- Immediately pour mixture over pecans in pan.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot mixture.
- Cover with cookie sheet so the heat will be contained and melt the chocolate.
- Once chocolate is melted, spread with spatula.
- Chill until firm.
